刘哲教授,男,1977年出生,山东省“泰山学者海外特聘专家”,曲阜师范大学“抗癌药物开发及诊疗应用研究所”所长,化学学科研究中心副主任,山东师范大学博士生导师,济南大学客座教授,博士后指导教师,英国皇家化学会会员,国际生物无机化学会会员,中国化学会会员。承担国家自然科学基金、省泰山学者基金等多项基金。多次受邀为ACS、RSC、Elsevier、Springer等国际出版社旗下的众多刊物审稿。

2008至2011年获WPRS奖学金,师从英国皇家科学院院士Peter J. Sadler教授,在英国华威大学获得化学专业博士学位;2012-2015年分别在英国华威大学和瑞士巴塞尔大学从事研究工作,2015年以“泰山学者海外特聘专家”加盟曲阜师范大学,并任“抗癌药物开发及诊疗应用研究所”所长。 主要研究领域为生物无机化学,研究方向包括:金属配合物药物化学;新型金属抗癌药物的设计、开发及作用机理研究;新型纳米材料设计、合成及肿瘤诊疗一体化研究;金属配合物在生物催化及催化聚合中的应用等。

目前在金属化合物抗癌和生物催化领域均取得了一系列开拓性研究成果,打破了科学界对铱化合物药用局限的传统观念。对代表性铱化合物(ZL105)开展的抗癌和生物催化研究,已被美国Science Daily和英国BBC连续报道。

代表性论文包括Acc. Chem. Res.(IF = 20.833,他引120余次)1篇, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.(IF = 13.734,一篇被评为VIP文章)4篇, J. Med. Chem.(IF = 5.614,他引120余次)1篇。海外期间作为第一完成人参与国际科研项目四项,其中重大项目两项(European Research Council, Swiss National Science Foundation,科研经费156.5万欧元和25万瑞士法郎)。

设计开发的金属铱抗癌化合物具有广谱、高效、低毒的特点,显示了不同于临床铂类药物的新奇抗癌机理,能通过DNA双重作用机制和氧化应激机制(ROS)等多种作用方式杀死癌细胞,并在正常细胞和癌细胞之间有较高的选择性。现已设计开发了大批具有超强抗癌活性(比临床抗癌药物顺铂高十倍)和广谱抗癌效果的铱化合物,对肺癌、乳腺癌、卵巢癌、白血病、黑色素瘤等均有特殊疗效,且与临床铂类药物无交叉耐药性,获得了中国和欧洲工业界的广泛兴趣,已申请国际专利1项,极具市场开发潜力。

另外,首次报道了金属化合物和辅酶NADH之间的氢负离子转移现象,并成功开发了铱-NADH催化体系,该催化系统在生物条件下已成功应用于氢气、活性氧产生,以及生物醌催化还原等领域,对于金属化合物抗癌机理研究、活性氧产生机制及生物催化等领域都具有重大意义,展示了其作为生物催化药物的光明前景。
